You do not need an animated hero video or a chatbot. You need a website that answers a stranger's questions quickly and makes it easy to contact you. That comes down to about eight things.
1. A headline that says what you do
Above the fold, in plain language, including where you do it. A visitor should know within four seconds whether they are in the right place.
2. A phone number that is tappable
In the header, in the footer, and coded as a link so that tapping it on a phone starts the call. It is a small detail and it directly produces revenue.
3. A short contact form
Name, email or phone, and a message. Every additional field costs you submissions. You can ask the rest of the questions once they reply.
4. Your services, one page each
Better for the reader, better for search. Each page should cover what it is, who it is for, roughly what it costs, and what happens next.
5. Proof you are real
Reviews, a photo of the actual team, years in business, licenses, service area. People are deciding whether to trust a stranger with money, and small signals add up.
6. Mobile-first design
Designed for the phone first, then expanded for desktop. That is the order most of your visitors arrive in.
7. Fast loading and an SSL certificate
Under three seconds, with a padlock in the address bar. Neither is negotiable anymore.
8. One obvious next step
Call, book, or send a message. Pick the one you want most and repeat it clearly down the page. A visitor who has to hunt for how to hire you often just does not.
None of this is exotic. It is just consistently done, and consistently done is rarer than it sounds.
